Over the time span of two decades, Barcelona has transformed itself into the stylish and vibrant city that it is today.
In the summer Barcelona has a party atmosphere, although all year round the city has a very good mood as it is at the cutting edge of food, fashion, music and of course architecture, as Gaudi's architectural flair adds culture and style all around the city. If you want to experience Barcelona's party atmosphere, February would also be a great time to visit, as this is when 'Carnaval' is held.
The city also has a collection of art that is astounding as well, with Picasso and Miro collections to get all visitors excited about art.
When travelling, it is important to consider your options of where to stay. Barcelona has many hotels on offer for everyone's budget; there are cheaper hotels in Barcelona, which are usually on the outskirts and more expensive accommodation in the city centre.
If you would prefer to stay in a quieter part and travel into the city centre when you want to, then there are holiday cottages available for booking that are situated in little villages outside of the city in the countryside.
Holidaying in Spain does not have to be very expensive, as Spain is known for being one of the most affordable countries in Europe. It is possible to spend as little as 40 Euros a day and still enjoy a decent holiday.
Barcelona is definitely the place to visit and with the people's exuberance and creative nature, no doubt somewhat inspired by Gaudi, you will want to return again and again. ( Article Post source :- http://www.articlesbase.com/hotels-articles/hotels-barcelona-2205616.html#axzz0lpkTnsHv )
